Western Indoor Sports Hub (WISH) Project

Federal Labor Funding: $9 million

The project will construct new sporting infrastructure, including a 12 court indoor sports centre, show court with seating, 4 outside netball courts, gym, cafe, crèche, care parking and landscaping.

Skate Park Expansion, Laverton

Federal Labor Funding: $71,000

Expansion of the existing skate park in McCormack Park, including the installation of a concrete bowl, new ramps and a new novice skate area.

Werribee Outdoor Olympic Pool Refurbishment

Federal Labor Funding: $398,000

Landscape and pave the Werribee Outdoor Olympic Pool.

Grange Synthetic Soccer Pitch

Federal Labor Funding: $380,000

Installation of synthetic grass on the Grange soccer pitch.

Chirnside Park Terracing

Federal Labor Funding: $180,000

Terracing spectator mounds to provide a better viewing platform during sporting games.

Cricket Wicket and Lights, Featherbrook Oval, Point Cook

Federal Labor Funding: $180,000

Installation of the cricket wicket and training lights in conjunction with the oval construction.

Construction of Arndell Park Community Centre and Sports Pavillion at Truganina

Federal Labor Funding: $681,000

Works include construction of three community meeting rooms and storage area covering an area of 275 square metres and works involve construction of concrete slab, building including windows, doors, shelving, and ceiling and wall insulation.
