Joanne, Putting 0.6m shoulders on the upcoming Cherry St bridge (Level Crossing Removal Project) would be a good start to make riding my bike on-road safe. It might also enhance the current cycling up-trend, allow us & future generations the option to alleviate climate change, maintain fitness, and connect with our community. Some astute planning would give a better outcome than a community grant. And then there’s the unknown address to cyclists with the removal of Old Geelong Rd level crossing. Cheers.
