MEMBERS STATEMENT - HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
This week is Harmony Week. and I want to share my best wishes with everybody in my electorate who will be celebrating Harmony Week in our schools. Our youth services had an event on the weekend. Last week in my electorate, I attended one of three citizenship ceremonies where 1,500 people that day became citizens of Australia. Harmony Day is important to me. My message to the community is, enjoy the week of celebrating 50 years of Australia's fabulous multiculturalism. Everyone belongs.
