Lumen Christi visits Parliament House

It was great to have the opportunity to catch up with another school group visiting Canberra and Parliament House last week. The grade 6 classes from Lumen Christi were on their school camp when I caught up with them at Parliament House.

It was an absolute delight to hear them air their knowledge of our democratic systems and processes so confidently. The work being done in preparation for the trip and as part of the Civics and Citizenship unit was obviously engaging and memorable.

It is an honour as Local Member to meet the young people of Lalor and engage with them at Parliament House.
