St Andrew's Grade 6 Visit

Yesterday was another first for me as Local Member and a first for the Grade 6 class from St Andrew's Werribee. The students and teachers (Mrs Widdop, Mr Ansell and Ms Hurley) and accompanying parents were on their grade 6 school camp to Canberra. As it was a sitting week, they organised for a tour and a visit to my office.

In an exciting addition they were invited to attend the launch of the One Hundred Years of the Anzac, "The Spirit Lives" coin. I joined them in the Great Hall for the launch where they all received a coin.

It was terrific to meet such a lovely group of students so interested in the parliament and our democratic processes.
