Werribee Medical & Dental Centre is now 100% Bulk-Billed

The Albanese Labor Government has remained committed to providing real cost-of living relief for every Australian.

From 1 November 2025, Labor is expanding bulk billing incentives by creating a new incentive payment for practices which bulk bill every patient.

As of 8 September 2025, Werribee Medical & Dental Centre has made the decision to transition back to bulk billing all patients, ahead of the government’s newly introduced bulk bill incentive.

This boosts the number of fully bulk billed practices to around 4,800 nationally – including one at the heart of Werribee’s CBD.

This is the single largest investment in Medicare’s history, made by the Albanese Labor Government.

This will build on the Albanese Government’s three largest boosts to Medicare rebates. It will provide better access to preventative healthcare for Wyndham residents.

Further information is available on the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website.

Quotes attributable to Andrew Cohen, ForHealth CEO:

“Werribee Medical & Dental Centre is one of many clinics in our network to transition to 100% bulk-billing as a direct result of the Albanese Government’s $8b commitment to lift bulk-billing rates nationwide.

This investment is a vote-of-confidence in Medicare and bulk-billing and our work indicates patient hip-pockets and our GPs will be significantly better off.

It is a welcome change for the outer metro and regional communities we operate in, during a cost-of-living crisis.

We want to offer patients a bulk-billed alternative in these vulnerable areas, consistent with our mission of accessible, universal healthcare.”

Quotes attributable to Joanne Ryan MP, Federal Member for Lalor:

“The announcement from ForHealth’s return to 100% bulkbilling in our community is very welcome.

Strengthening Medicare is an Albanese government’s priority – it will help with family budgets and means all patients can see a doctor when they need to.

It means a healthier community.”
