Local Labor MPs Line up for Fun Run

Local Labor MPs are getting behind the Wyndham Rotary Club Fun Run/Walk to raise vital funds for the Royal Children’s Good Friday Appeal.

Member for Lalor Joanne Ryan MP, Member for Tarneit Tim Pallas MP and Member for Derrimut Telmo Languiller MP will all participate in the event to be held on 2 March 2014.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community and raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal," Ms Ryan said.

"The Royal Children's Hospital do such important work and I'm so pleased we're able to support such a worthwhile cause."

Ms Ryan, Mr Pallas and Mr Languiller urged local residents to sign up for the event.

"You can enter as an individual, with friends and family or even as a corporate team," Mr Languiller said.

"I am looking forward to getting out and about, supporting this new community event and meeting local residents."

"I'd like to commend the Wyndham Rotary Club for their work in organising such a great event," Mr Pallas said.

"We're looking forward to getting our running shoes on and raising as much money as we can for the Good Friday Appeal."

Residents wanting to register as a participant can do so at www.wyndhamfunrun.org
